Role Overview

As our first Marketing hire, you will need to be adaptable and cover a range of activities, with a primary focus on content and community. 

In particular, you will get to shape and amplify the voice of RevvedUp, be responsible for crafting compelling content, optimising distribution, and fostering a vibrant community of sales and marketing professionals. 

You’ll create and execute a content and distribution strategy that drives engagement, educates our audience, and builds brand awareness. Additionally, you’ll cultivate and manage a thriving community of users, prospects and partners, ensuring they are engaged, supported, and empowered to succeed with their approach to Value-Led Growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shape the Conversation and Build Awareness: We have the opportunity to be leaders in our space, which requires that we lead the conversion both in person and online!
  • Content Creation & Distribution: Plan and create compelling content that educates and inspires our audience, with a clear distribution strategy to maximise its reach and impact.
  • Community Building: Build and nurture an active community of RevvedUp users and partners. Facilitate discussions, answer questions, and provide support to ensure a positive and collaborative environment both in-person and digitally.
  • Social Media Management: Manage our social media channels, creating and scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and monitoring conversations to increase brand visibility and engagement.
  • Event Planning: Organise and host webinars, virtual events, meetups, launch events and conferences to foster community engagement and showcase our product’s value. 
  • SEO: Optimise content for SEO to drive organic traffic. 
  • Analytics: Monitor and analyse content performance using tools like Google Analytics and Posthog to refine strategies and improve results.
  • User Engagement & Support: Work with our CS team to develop and implement programs to increase user engagement and retention. Provide support and gather feedback to inform product development and improve user experience.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the leadership, customer success, product, and sales teams to ensure content and community initiatives align with business goals and drive desired outcomes.

Desired Experience:

  • Proven Experience: 3-5 years of experience in marketing, content creation, community management, or related roles within a B2B environment.
  • Exceptional Writing: Strong ability to create compelling, clear, and engaging content tailored to different audiences.
  • Community Management: Experience in building and managing online communities, with a knack for fostering engagement and collaboration.
  • Digital Marketing: Familiarity with digital marketing strategies, including SEO, social media management (specifically LinkedIn), and email marketing.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyse data, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimise content and community strategies.
  • Innovation & Creativity: Tackle marketing from a first principles approach, being brave and willing to test and learn in your approach to exceeding goals.
  • Self-Starter: High energy, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for taking full ownership and driving results in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with users and convey complex ideas simply.
  • Video production & editing: Not required, but a huge bonus is you’re handy at capturing great video and editing for production.
