Role Overview

As our first Customer Success Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers achieve their desired outcomes through our platform. You’ll be responsible for onboarding new clients, providing ongoing support, and driving product adoption.

Your ultimate goal will be to build strong relationships, minimise churn, and turn customers into advocates for RevvedUp through helping them to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Onboarding: Lead the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring a smooth and successful implementation of RevvedUp. Provide training and resources to get them up and running quickly.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers. Understand their goals, challenges, and needs to ensure they derive maximum value from our product.
  • Proactive Support: Regularly check in with customers to identify and address any issues or questions. Provide proactive support and guidance to help them achieve their business objectives.
  • Product Adoption: Drive product adoption and usage by educating customers on best practices and new features. Conduct regular reviews to ensure they are leveraging the platform effectively.
  • Customer Feedback: Collect and analyse customer feedback to inform product development and improvement. Serve as the voice of the customer within the company, advocating for their needs and priorities.
  • Minimise Churn: Identify at-risk customers and develop strategies to mitigate churn. Work closely with the sales and product teams to address any concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Upselling & Cross-selling: Identify opportunities to expand our footprint within existing accounts. Collaborate with the sales team to upsell and cross-sell additional features and services.
  • Community Engagement: Foster a sense of community among our users. Working with our Content & Community Manager, facilitate peer-to-peer connections, host user groups, and organise events to promote knowledge sharing and networking.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Track and report on key customer success metrics, such as customer health scores, retention rates, and NPS. Use data to drive continuous improvement in our customer success strategy.
  • Own the Knowledge Base: Continuously update and expand the knowledge base to help scale self-support for clients, including both video and written tutorials on how to use the product and get most value from it.
  • Continuous Improvement: Each week, improve at least one element of our email and landing page templates to produce higher quality outputs and increased engagement/conversions for our clients.

Desired Experience:

  • Proven Experience: 3-5 years of experience in customer success, account management, or related roles within the SaaS or tech industry.
  • Strong Relationship Skills: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers at all levels, from end-users to executives.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving customer success.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas simply and clearly.
  • Technical Aptitude: Comfortable with technology and able to quickly learn and effectively use new tools and software.
  • Self-Starter: High energy, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for taking full ownership and driving results in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Collaboration: Strong team player who can work effectively across departments to achieve shared goals.
